Team Violet Yo Build Starts

So, this is my first restoration project and I have to say I'm already in love. This is such an amazing color, can't wait to get her all built up and take her out for a shakedown!!

The patient is a 1992 Yo, with BOI fork and Salsa stem (so far). It started out as a black frameset with a mix match of XTR, deore and other weirdness. Most of the original parts were throwaways with a few exceptions, like a minty no-label CK headset and some nice Kooka levers.

The build is going to be mostly M900 XTR which I already have. Stay tuned for updates.

Paintwork was done by Russ Pickett at AirArt.

I would also say King for the HS, though the old Mavics look interesting.

Yes King would be ideal, but I'm short on no-logo CKs and would like to keep it original when it comes time to move it on.

This most likely will not be a keeper as I have an L in wings and it's more my size.

Update on build progress

Here's a brief update on the Team Violet build. It's coming along, still missing a few pieces but it's getting there!
