Thats one of the things that ticked me off when I got it back from the painter. I'll make a super thin overlay decal with the made in mass on it. I put a the original control stix bar ends on and weighed it ...22lbs 2oz. need to find a ti spindle!

No problem, they are first year XTR pads and thats the way they were ment to mount back then. If i decide to ride this i will swap them over side to side like most modern pads. They do look strange that way.

I wanted a color you don't see on many fats in fact i have only seen one other YO in white.

Also, I don't mind the red and white "don't tread" flag since that is probably the way it would have arrived originally. I don't know, just a thought.
Plus, isn't the USA flag adjacent to Chris's signature decal on the seat stay in red, white, and blue?

Im saying this very quietly...I have one and i'll sell it but its not in perfect condition.
This is the original stem i bought in 91. It was a 30 deg rise at 130mm. Ahhh but then those stupid suspension forks came along and i just had to have a set of Manitou 1. After i put on my nice shinny new forks the front of the bike raised up a bit due to the forks. So it took the stem to
a frame builder and had it cut and welded down around 5 deg rise (i was broke after spending 2k on the bike and almost 500 on the forks! I used this stem like this for 5 years so I know the tig job is god. the only problem as you can see we had to remove the roller to make i work.

I will dig around i may have an extra orig. mass flag if u want. Just let me know and i will look. OK i do have an extra. Found them that quick.
