If you experience difficulties sourcing an old one, you could also go for something like a new Shannon Hardcore or Heylight mit Versatz. Those are already around for over 10 years.

Not surprised he didn't understand your best Dutch, as he is German 
I guess you wrote in English and he does not respond. Too bad. Maybe he doesn't speak English??? Could be. Or he doesn't like going through the hassle of shipping 1 single post to the US??? Don't know. Unfortunately the Rogolls shop shut down. They were great. I will look whether I can find another mail order shop doing Heylight.

...unfortunatly their site is not available in English , but maybe they're capable in reading and writing it This site is available in English =>

Any good? I have one on my Rafty and so far I had no problems. Proper post, sure.
Roox posts pretty much look like Shannon Hard Core posts. Made by Shannon??? Don't know.
To some degree they are classic looking. I remember them from an era when I lost interest in what happened in the indusrty a bit. Post '95. The Shannon(though very tiny modifications) & Heylight are older.

Stateside, I don't know of anyone but Kalloy that still makes 26.4 seatposts. Seems all of the higher-end, nicer posts just don't come in that size. Thomson makes every size but that one.
Those Roox seatposts look pretty nice and light -- there's also a silver one for less bucks in their Ebay store.
I finally bought a vintage 25.0 USE post for my Wicked, waiting for the LBS to get the shim in so I can use it! But if I'd seen the Roox ones, I might well have gone that way.
Keep the suggestions coming, it looks like 26.4 is still extant in Europe!!!

I have seen that USE post as well and it is a very nicely made post. There is another option: you can buy a shim from USE, resizing from 25.0 to 26.4 and buy a Thomson post 25.0X330. That will look very good I think. Just a small downside: you sometimes need a longer post, I which case the Roox or Kalloy is the way to go.
