Hello! New here. Just bought myself a 89ish Wicked Fat Chance with an 18 inch frame.
Components are Shimano XT M730 headset, top shifters, front caliper rear clincher, hubs, crank (175), Mavic Oxygen rims, a Strong seat post, Hite Rite seatpost spring adjuster, Fat City Bars, Magura Levers, RS Mag 20 shock (fully functional, getting a new dust wiper from enduro) and a Salsa Stem.
Pretty stoked. I already poured in about $ 300 in maintenance parts (chain, chain rings, cable sets, pads, tires etc) and bike tools just to fix it myself in the garage
Serial number looks like B01538. The letter B is possibly a W turned on its side. It appears to be written in a different font. Hard to tell as the paint sort of flowed into that part of the SN. If someone can date the bike better with the SN, that would be great.
Here she is from when I brought her home.
