It's Ringle Blue - Practically a perfect match!

The final build will have a blue Ringle seat post and stem with gold being mixed in other goodies.

Mark at Spectrum Powder Works in Colorado Springs did the paint. Super nice people there and the work speaks for itself.

I had my LBS press in the gold CK headset cups today and I'll take some time tomorrow to work on the build. The gold headset against that blue with the gold in the decals looks sweet.

that frame looks sick. i cannot believe how good that looks. Spectrum is good there ain't no doubt about it. in fact when i was riding a DEAN out at Lorry State Park and Horsetooth Res - that frame was done at Spectrum. the Poudre lives!

That's liquid paint. We had them check to see if they could do that in powder but no way, it had to be liquid for them to do their magic and match the anodized aluminum color.

that looks stunning. So what is the story of the buck shaver? All I knew up till a month ago was that my wicked was just that, hand built etc, rides awesome. Now I see yo eddy, titainium, etc.
not trying to hijack, but would like to know 'what is a buck'? :>}

Here are some pictures of the bike built up. I did an overnight build as my girl friend and I were going to Moab Utah for a nice weekend of riding and she was freakin out for me to get this done for the trip. As such, the bikes first ride in its new form was on slick rock trail.

I threw in a shot of my Monster Fat from the trip too.

I set it up as a 1 x 9 (32 front with 11-34 spread in back) and it gives you a pretty dang good range of gears and cleans up the looks of the bike. It's not been on a good scale but it's plenty light for sure and it rides sweet! We used a bath room scale to ball park the weight and it looks like 22ish lbs.

Thanks all for the kind comments. It really does blow me away when I look at it, the bike looks like it is glowing all the time.

I hope to blow you all away soon with my most special personal project - my 90 Yo Eddy restoration. More to come later.

Yeah the single front must shave some good weight. and it does look like a good gearing combo. hmmmmm ( talking to myself) might have to do that to mine with the new wheels I'm getting.

And for sure it does clean it up nicely
